My name is Scott Mcdougal and JP now lives NJ. Back when my wife and I were living in SC, we found JP at the Hilton Head Island Animal Shelter. We were told that his left front leg was injured because someone decided to use a 2 x 4 on him. Due to extensive damage, the leg could not be saved. The healing process was slow but sure. Today he is very happy and full of life. What I find amazing is how he still embraces strangers and loves all people. Whenever we go out in public and share our story, we are often told how lucky JP is to have us. The truth is, we are the lucky ones!
